Grant Money Is Available for Your Business
Main Street grant funds are now available to help your
business and property owners make critical investments to improve the
exteriors of their buildings.
The grant funds are to be used for awnings, signs, windows, and facades.
Interior improvements, mechanical, heating, air-conditioning, roofs or
electrical work does not qualify.
Funds in a given year are limited and available on a first come, first
served basis.
The maximum grant available for exterior improvements is $12,000 and the
maximum for signage and awnings is $2,500.
After reviewing your application, the Main Street BID Board will contact you
and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors regarding approval.
It is important to submit the plans prior to beginning construction or
installation of the improvements as the Main Street Design Committee must be
assured all improvements meet the Main Street Design Criteria.
